I thought I would share with you a new toy Dylan and I have been reviewing, I’m very grateful for when I get the opportunity to review toys with Dylan. He gets so excited when parcels arrive that are for him, the Toddlerbike2 arrived very quickly in a medium size box that was incredibly lightweight. I thought that the bike would arrive and need to be put together but the bike comes ready made which is brilliant, means no toddler screaming and waiting for the bike to be built! I went for the shade Midnight Blue the Toddlerbike also comes in shades Pinky pink and Racing Red. The Toddlerbike is as the name suggests a bike for toddlers ages 18 months upwards, who can walk confidently but aren’t ready yet for a traditional balance bike.
I wanted to share you with my honest views from me and Dylan aged 3. When I first saw the bike I was impressed with how lightweight the bike is, making it easy to transport, I loved the bright midnight blue colour of the bike. Dylan was very excited by the bike and couldn’t wait to jump on and give it ago round the house, he found the bike very easy to ride. We did go out to the park with the bike when the weather was better. We have got most of the wear of this bike indoors as the weather has been bad lately, its very narrow width and light weight means the bike is quick, my son learnt that lifting his legs up made the bike go quicker.
I would have to say that maybe the age should be lowered for the age of the toddlerbike2 as my little boy has just turned 3 and he is normal height for his age, I found he was slightly too tall and he would have been more enjoyable for a smaller child. He is able to use the bike but he does look slightly too big for the bike, I do however think unfortunately he wont have much use left in this bike. I think the toddler bike is great for teaching toddlers how to balance, and is a good price compared to some balance bikes, I would happily choose this one over other balance bikes.
Some balance bikes can be too heavy, and end up needing adults to push them which isn’t ideal! Toddlers learn the basics of how to move a real bicycle but they can be independent. I love how easy they are to pop in the car or stick under the buggy or on the handles. We both enjoyed reviewing the Toddlerbike2 and would recommend to anyone looking to buy a balance bike. I like how well made the bike is and its very robust, very great value for money there are also no small parts that they can break off or swallow. The Toddlerbike2 retails at £24.95 You can buy the Toddlerbike2 online here from the Toddlerbike2 website delivery takes 3-5 working days, can also be ordered online from Amazon Toddlerbike2.
