Stoptober is a 28-day campaign to run each October to encourage people to quit smoking, Public Health England created the campaign many years ago in 2012 and they also fund it. The idea is that people will give up smoking for 28 long days with the idea of giving up altogether after the end of the 28 days.
With the help of social media, this campaign has always worked well and been encouraged by a lot of people. There has been evidence to show that after 28 days without cigarette smokers are as much as 5 times more likely to give up smoking for good.
It is an extremely difficult task to do but a task with a lot of help and support out there, there are so many resources out there that the NHS has to offer. I have always grown up around people that smoke, I have never been keen on the smell and the way touching cigarettes can leave your hands looking yellow and your clothing with a strong smell.
It’s not easy to quit smoking you will struggle, people have managed to quit by having help i.e using nicotine chewing gum or patches. Or the very popular vaping, This seems to be the most popular has been for a while now there isn’t as much information out there about this but they do claim for it to be better and healthier than smoking and a good way of quitting.
Just like smoking a cigarette there are so many flavors, in fact, more then cigarettes, I was browsing Aquavape there are so many flavors online like fruit mix and apple. There are also a few different strengths you can make the liquid I would recommend looking into this.
*Do you vape? Have you ever tried to quit smoking?
Lots Of Love,
