Hi All!
So I don’t know about you but no one told me how awful your hair went after kids! People only seem to share the good parts of having kids. I had lovely hair whilst pregnant so thick and my hair went so long, in fact, the longest I have ever had my hair.
The condition was really good soft my hair went pretty straight whilst pregnant some days I wouldn’t need to straighten my hair. Not long after having my son I started to notice big changes, My hair was getting very greasy.
I was finding my self washing my hair more often this did eventually settle down. Then I noticed my hair going very dry, I started to use repairing masks on my hair at least once a week to keep on top of the condition.
I then had a lot of hair loss, I was extremely panicked to see so much hair coming out of my head! I often thought one day I would wake up with no hair!
I noticed a lot would fall out when washing, I seemed to be forever cleaning out the plug hole. I had a lot fall out when brushing and I guess there must have been some throughout the day as I found myself hovering a lot of hair from the carpets.
My hair seemed to settle down for a while, I then spotted like tuffs that looked like I had crazy baby hair growing mainly on the right side of my hair and underneath. I instantly googled to find out if this was normal to happen, and I was relieved to find out this is also normal after having children.
There are so many hair changes during and after having children you really don’t realise what your hair is going through. I’m pleased to say my hair is back to normal now, did take a while to adjust back my hair is no longer greasy or very dry.
Most of my hair did grow back where I found it missing or shorter, I do still have some shorter hair on the right side, however, and I have noticed that my hair loss has started again this did go away for a while! I went to my doctors and found out this can be because of stress, and to try not to stress about the hair coming out which of course is easier said than done!
I have of course looked into hair transplant costs, I feel hair is such a big part of your image and with previously being a hairdresser my hair has always been important. I think if my hair doesn’t settle down from losing hair from stress I would consider FUE hair transplant or ATP procedure.
*What changes did you find in your hair after having children? Has your hair gone back to normal?
Lots Of Love,
