Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara ❤

January 28, 2018

Hi All!

I often try new mascaras to find the perfect one, mascara is a product I use daily I have found a few I like but none that have amazed me until now. Even if I don’t feel like wearing much make up a few coats of mascara will always make me feel more together. I know how I like my eyelashes to look, I like the mascara to be thick but not too much that my lashes are clumped together.

I always wear only black mascara and a volumising mascara is a must, I don’t usually buy waterproof mascara. I hate mascaras that flake, smudge or make me look like a raccoon at the end of the day, I have been so impressed with the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara ticks all the boxes. I was sent the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Mascara from Inflenster to test, I was so excited!

I haven’t tried any Marc Jacobs Make up before. I have now run out of this mascara and seriously need to restock! this is the best mascara I have tried and gives me such long black lashes, the mascara retails at £22  so this is probably the most expensive mascara I have tried, but the price is very much worth it!

you can buy this mascara at most big beauty online stores and in department stores, I know that John Lewis stock this mascara online if you don’t have a local store.  I will not be going back to my old mascara now, I also found the mascara lasted me a while. I had a fair few comments about what mascara I was using, my mum noticed straight away and asked what mascara I had on.

The black packaging is very sophisticated I really like the Marc Jacobs packaging, I think the hexagonal shape is really unique. The brush on this mascara is awesome! its got an hourglass shape, which makes the mascara easy to pump up your lashes and to coat all of them, the brush made it very easy to even get into the corner and the tiny lashes. The brush uses natural bristles not the plastic ones you sometimes get with other brands, the comb also makes it very easy to glide on without making them clumpy.

The formula of the mascara is a deep black pigmentation, creates buildable volume the texture is slightly thick but I don’t mind this. I think the mascara works really well on my lashes gives them amazing volume, they are dark enough for me and they last all day.

Have you tried this Mascara? what is your favorite mascara?
*This product was sent to me complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Mini Sephora Haul ❤

November 1, 2017

Hi All!

I went away for a few days to Barcelona on a girls holiday, I had already found out there was a Sephora there so pre-warned the girls that I NEEDED to go!  I’ve always wanted to go to Sephora since starting Blogging they have so many brands there that I have wanted to try and heard such great things about the Sephora own brand.

My friend could see how much I wanted to go so they were all up for it also, Gemma managed to find out where it was and it was fairly local to the city center where we would be going anyway. I know you can now order Sephora online but I have still been unsure about the taxes and its also always better to be able to try and see products in person.

I already had a few things on my list that I knew that I wanted to have a look at and try, Fenty Beauty was high on the list it’s available in the UK but only at Harvey Nichols online and in-store but the nearest store is too far away, I could have ordered online but the delivery price really puts me off! I wanted to try the Fenty Beauty foundation that’s another reason I wanted to see the foundation in store, with there being 40 shades! I had no idea what shade I would be, the sales assistant in Sephora gave me a hand and matched me up I was shade 150.

I thought I would just share with you the bits I got from Sephora Brand as the Fenty foundation and killawatt highlighter duo will be in a review soon! I got the Sephora charcoal nose strip which is a cleansing pore strip, I use these at often now anyway so was keen on trying this one, I find they really do work this one wasn’t too expensive either I paid $3.

I also got the Sephora pink clay mask in the new pouch size, I must admit this was on my list to try and the packaging had me over, this mask claims to be 4 uses unifying and brightening, I haven’t tried this yet but I’m looking forward to having glowing skin. This mask cost $8 which isn’t bad for a mask that will last 4 uses, they had so many to choose from they all sounded really good so fingers crossed they work well.

The last thing I got was the Sephora Pomegranate eye mask anti-fatigue and energizing the packaging also looks great! this is perfect for the mornings when you need that extra boost, I’m so sad I have now used this I need to go back to buy more. This eye mask cost $5 there were also lots of different eye masks to choose from, I went for the energizing mask as I often struggle in the mornings. My friends said I was like a kid in the sweet shop with how excited I was to be shopping in Sephora I  couldn’t help but run in there! I already can’t wait for the next time I go to the store and can have a look around.

What do you think of my mini Sephora haul? What have you tried from Sephora?

Primark Mini Beauty Hall ❤

October 16, 2017

Hi All!

I haven’t posted a Primark beauty hall before now we have a Primark in my local town I have found myself in there every few weeks, I have always been a Primark fan so to now have it on my doorstep!  used to go every few months for a Primark trip with my mum as we both are big fans! we have similar taste and know what each other like so would find out selves pointing out things the other person would like.

I haven’t really looked at the beauty section until recently, but the Kylie Jenner lip kits dupes have been all over Instagram lately that’s next on my list! Not to mention the Disney Chip mug that everyone has gone crazy for they sold out so quick! that restocked again and sold out again, I never did get my hands on this mug other stores have sold the mug now like the Disney Store and Boots but they have also sold out, I have heard B&M have one similar for £3.99 so will be heading there.

I decided to try the Cucumber & Vitamin C skin tonic this was only 90p so no great loss if it doesn’t work out, I’m really enjoying using this tonic with cotton wool in the evenings has made my skin a lot clearer. I can’t wait to pop back to the store and try more from the skincare range! so affordable yet works brilliantly.

The mind Calm spray I have been hunting down for a while after seeing this on Primark’s Instagram, I went into my local store and asked if they had it as I couldn’t see it did get some weird looks as no one knew what I was on about I was told to try Beauty section then another work told me homeware they didn’t have it in stock, I went shopping in the potteries and found it in this Primark. The spray is an anti-stress ingredients are lavender, geranium and ylang-ylang the spray claims to spray the stress away! I have also been searching for the night spray to help me sleep I haven’t managed to get hold of this yet, but I have tried this stress spray at bedtimes as it has lavender in and does seem to be working! The pink spray is the rest sleep, pillow and body spray ingredients are lavender and jasmine both sprays are £1.50, I usually buy the This Works night spray which is  £18 so this saves a lot of money!

Have you tried Primark Beauty?
