Free Hair Products ❤

April 23, 2018

Hi All!

How to Make Hair Shine on a Tight Budget – Free Hair Products

How do you get free hair products? This is the million-dollar question. The fact is that the hair
product market is vast; ranging from conditioners, shampoo, dry shampoo, hairsprays, to even hair
oil products. People are passionate with keeping their locks intact, clean, and at an affordable cost.

Did you know that there are several super easy ways to acquire free hair products? YES! This is true.
Well, continue reading to know ways you can get yourself some hair products for free today.

How Do You Get Freebies Then?

1. Testing Websites

Well, one of the ways is to become a product tester for free conditioners, shampoo, and other hair
styling products. The good news is that it is very easy to become a hair product tester, due to the
availability of many product testing websites today. This is an option that you must undertake to get
free hair products. The product manufacturers and product reviewers would want your opinion in
exchange for the products.

In a nutshell, your favourite hair brand or a testing panel will send you several hair products in
exchange for a review online.

Some of the best testing websites include:

• Charles Worthington – This website requires all users to sign up and have an account before
they would get an opportunity to test new exclusive Charles Worthington products.

• Boots – Have a secret volunteering panel that tests their new products before they are
introduced in the market. If you signing up is not open now, it is worth bookmarking this website and
check back again later. It is important to note that they open registration throughout the year.

• Super Savvy Me – This is another excellent website you can register or signup. This website
has a lot of products up for grabs, which also includes mega Pantene bundles. Personally, I got the
mega Pantene bundle last year. All I had to do to get the products was simply to talk about my hair
problem and characteristic (such as it’s thick and greasy), and then they sent me this product, which
is quite awesome because I would have never tried this product. Now, it is the only product I
purchase for my hair.

• Trnd – This website gives you an opportunity to test all kinds of hair and beauty products.
The only problem is that they do it in bulk.

• Bzzagent – This is another website that offers many hair goodies that are up for grabs. All you
need to do is simply signup and fill in all surveys that you want to participate in; then they choose
relevant products for you to test and give them your feedback.
*Tip – You can also visit free stuff websites who offer a huge range of hair product samples, sites like
WOW Free Stuff are very useful for finding good samples, as they tend to publish free samples before
anyone else.

2. Getting Free Hair Products In Exchange For Reviews

This may sound too good to be true, but it actually works. It does not matter if you are an influential,
or famous blogger, or a person who simply loves a particular brand; the old saying you do not ask,
you do not get applies. However, it is wise to angle this technique as beneficial to them rather than
you simply trying to get freebies.

Always be polite and begin by complementing their products. This simply means stating how a loyal
customer you are, and that you have been using their brand for many years. After this, show them
that you have noticed that they have different or new product in the market and you would wish to
try in exchange for reviews on their website or your blog.

There are times they send full-size products, but in the long run, you will get a free hair product.
There are times they will send you vouchers for a discounted price on your next hair product
purchase. The bottom-line is that a freebie is a freebie, no matter how it comes.

3. Asking For Free Hair Product Samples in Your Local Store

Did you know that many local stores get free product samples from manufacturers? With this
information, you may decide to go to local stores like House of Fraser, Selfridges, nor Debenhams
and request for free hair product samples. You will always see a friendly makeup and hair
professional at each beauty and hair stand. They will give you full advice on ways to improve your
hair.

Most often, they will give you their expert advice together with free hair rewards like conditioning
hair treatments or shampoo samples. Always remember to be polite and nice. Do not make it
obvious that you are simply there for the freebies. At the same time, consider their advice too. You
will be surprised at what you will learn from them.

4. Free Hair Product and Bundles Competitions

Hair product and bundle competitions are exciting ways to get free hair products, but the hardest
way also to me. This is because your chances of getting the product do only rely or depend on your
luck. There are many factors that come into play when competing for something such as luck, the
number of giveaways they have, the number of participants, competition rules and regulations, and
many other factors.

Nevertheless, it would be fun to enter and win. There are many competitions around. The only
problem is trying to find them and entering these competitions. For this reason, I have included a
guide that will help you win free stuff from competitions.

Some of the websites that hold attractive hair giveaways and bundles include:

• Emerald Street
• Stylist
• Look magazine
• Glamour magazine

It is worth taking a look at some smartphone apps. For example, if you are on O2 then you should
consider going to the Priority Comps in your O2 app. This does also apply to Wuntu. These new apps
are free.

How to get Free Hair Extensions

Do you wish to sample fancy new hair extensions as well as look for the perfect shape for you before
you can commit? Then you should consider free hair extensions samples.

To get started, I have found this new company that offers free samples by post. This is truly exciting.
Have you considered the colour you will choose?

At times, the many companies offer these freebies to beauty and hair specialists in the industry.
However, let this not discourage you, just consult with them by calling directly. You never know, they
may send over some free hair extensions out of civility.

*Do you go on the search for freebies? What free stuff have you received?

Becoming Self-Employed ❤

April 22, 2018

Hi All!

I wanted to talk to you about being self-employed, and how and why many people become self employed even if it’s not blogging. There are so many benefits to be being self employed if you have children you can work round them a lot easier, you can spend more time at home with the family and make the hours up a different day so you don’t have to miss that school performance. Your annual leave would be easier to plan for when suited  you not anyone else you might work for, so you could book the half terms off, if you wanted a last minute day off this would also be easier. There are so many jobs now that you can earn extra money from like surveys, online media, online writers, posting ads online, a lot of websites where you can easily earn money from home! you just need to sign up to the websites fill out questionnaires, you can apply for full time admin work from home. I have looked into this a lot recently so here are my tips and what research I have learnt.

A lot of people won’t have the money to start up a business straight away you might need to take out a small business loan, save for a while before taking the jump, or maybe doing the business on the cheaper side, depending on what the business is. If you do go down the loan route then make sure you get a good deal, and work out how much you need to lend and how long will the loan take to repay back. When you do decide to go self-employed you need to register your self as self employed, you need to make yourself a limited company which means your the owner and an employee of the business, you will set up a PAYE ( pay as you earn ) system to pay yourself a wage. What comes under earnings i.e if you’re a blogger it would be sponsored post, affiliate earnings, advertising, sponsored tweets etc, even if you’re given an item of clothing and decide to sell the item a few month later you need to declare how much you sold the item for. I would ask someone to help with the taxes if you don’t know what you’re doing as this needs to be right! the tax man will want all the details and the paper work, there are plenty of accounts you could hire to help you with this side of a business.

Even though you are a self employed if you earn over the £10,600 threshold you will need to start paying tax, if you have another job you will have to combine both earnings together. if you’re earning more then the allowance you will have to pay 20% back on whatever you’re earning on top of the standard rate. You will have to also consider how much National Insurance you will need to pay, this depends on how much you earn if you’re only earning spare money and its a small amount less than £5,965 a year, you may be able to get a small earnings exception which means you don’t pay any, if you’re over that threshold you have to arrange your National insurance payments yourself either through direct debit or by paying the amount in payment requested that HMRC will send you.

If you have already registered yourself as self-employed you’ll already be registered with self assessment and national insurance contributions. you should receive two letters in the post, the first letter is your unique tax payer reference and  it will confirm that everything is set up. The second letter will be and activation code that will allow you to go online, you need to use that within 28 days or you will need to reapply again. To declare how much money you make you need to fill out a self assessment tax return by the end of every tax tear which is April, you can do this online or by using a form. You need to keep hold of all your business receipts, bank statements, so you can work out how much you have earnt minus the expenses. To work out what classes as business expenses this can be anything from cameras, laptops, tools, transport, this could be anything depending on what your business is. I have included all the research I have done on self employment if you want to know or learn anything the best website to get extra information from is the HMRC, they will be able to answer all your queries now matter how silly you think they maybe.

*Would you be self employed? Do yo have any tips? Is it worth taking the jump?

Lots Of Love,

How To Choose The Living Room Rug ❤

April 10, 2018

Hi All!

I have recently got a new rug for the front room, a task that I never thought would be so difficult! I just expected to go pick a rug I liked the look of and job done! I was ver wrong. I didn’t consider the room size or how big I would need the rug, how much of the rug I wanted to cover the floor.

I hadn’t even thought of the style or colour I wanted for the colour scheme I currently have. In the end after browsing a  few shops I did decide, I wanted a silver or grey rug to match the colours we currently have in the front room.

To help you find the best rug and to match the floor type you currently have, I have included the useful infographic below. This infographic helped me to decide the best rug that would be suitable  for the flooring that we have in the living room. The Information in the Infographic has come from Land Of Rugs, they have lots of lovely rugs that are all reasonably priced.

I would love to know if you have a rug? and what rug you went for. I do however need to get a non slip cover underneath as I have noticed mine moves a lot!

*Do you have a rug in your front room? What colour rug would you go for?

Lots Of Love,

Intu Potteries SS18 ❤

April 2, 2018

Hi All!

I’m so ready for summer now, who’s with me? The snow is just not practical anymore, the first time it snowed it was amazing after that…meh! I’m dreaming about my summer holidays, and I have already started to browsing online for holidays, I bet I’m not the only one, you might have even booked one already!

I had a lovely day out with the family at Intu potteries, there is so much to do for the family, the shopping centre has made so many changes over the years. We went shopping for a few hours, we then went to Pizza Express for dinner. I would defiantly recommend the lasagne and dough balls they are amazing! We then went to the Cinema just round the corner to watch Peter Rabbit, Popcorn and slush puppies where a big hit! The potteries has so much to do for families and you could easily spend the day there, there is plenty of car parks and shops for everyone!

The Potteries also currently have a flower mannequins in the centre until 6th may, I would go and check this out, they all look brilliant! each mannequin is dressed in flowers in the latest trends this Spring/Summer. They also have a competition on, if you can guess how many flowers have been used on one mannequin you can win a £50 gift voucher to spend in any of the shops.

I noticed that the shops are all full of Spring/Summer wear, the winter sales are also everywhere right now and I have already picked up some key pieces for next winter in the sale. I think now the shops have also changed season this is making me want a holiday even more, I have picked up a lovely jumpsuit in the sale for my first holiday piece.

Whilst I was shopping at the weekend  at Intu Potteries , I  noticed 4 key trends for this Spring/Summer the first one is Lavender there are so many different shades pink lavender, Spring Crocus, Ash Rose and Almost Mauve, I’m a big fan of all of the shades and have noticed I already have a few items in those shades.

The next trend is PINK if you haven’t seen pink in the shops where have you been hiding? as this is a big trend and has been for a while now. The shops are full of pink this is a very easy trend to follow and one that doesn’t need to be expensive.

Metallics is also a trend that is popping up in the shops again, I don’t think this is a trend that really leaves. So this is also a very easy trend to follow and can do this just by a handbag or a pair of shoes. What do you think of the trends at the moment? are there any trends that you love.

I thought I would show you a few of the key items I picked up whilst updating my wardrobe for the new trends this Spring/Summer. I decided to follow the Love lavender trend as you can see I picked up some amazing pieces! Everything I picked is from Topshop so everything is still in store if you fancy a shopping trip!

The bag is lovely and the perfect size! I manage to fit so much into this bag, and I have had so many compliments already. I really like the Gold stud detailing on the bag and the gold chain, the bag looks a lot more expensive then what it is. With the strap and the opening of the bag makes this look very designer, the opening is unlike any other bag I own, very easy to open and shut and keeps everything safe in side. I paid £32 for the bag which is a great price  for a bag of this size, the bag is the pink lavender shade.

The shoes are white converse, I don’t think you can go wrong with converse I pick up a new pair most Summers as there is nothing better then a fresh white pair of converse. They are just so comfortable easy to style! and I’m yet to find an outfit that they don’t go with, they just look perfect in the Summer with a dress. Schuh currently have so many pairs in! I love the new colours they have a pink lavender colour which is so pretty, I love the gold detailing that they have added to the shoes. Most pairs of converse are the same price the white pair is £50

The jeans are also Topshop they are a lighter pair, I think in the Spring/Summer you defiantly need a light pair of jeans they look lovely with sandals and summer tops. The colour I normally get is the light blue bleach effect, the pair I’m wearing in the pictures are the Jamie style from Topshop which are high waisted they retail at £40. I find the jeans to be long wearing and to fit me well.

The blouse is also Topshop which is the Almost Mauve shade, I have seen this blouse all over Instagram lately! so if you want this blouse I would pick one up quick as I know there selling out quick. I have noticed they have started selling more colours now,I think I need the Khaki shade next. The blouse retails at £29 which is a good price for this top, this top can be dressed down for in the day I wore mine with converse, or you can add back jeans and a pair of heels for the evening! I love the buttons on this blouse and the shape.

The Earrings are a trend that have been around a while, The tassels I went for are the smaller pair they did have longer ones. I think the pair I have picked are great if you’re undecided on the trend or not brave enough for the long tassels, as much as I love the trend I think the smaller pair suit my style better. The shade is also Pink Lavender, I picked them up in a pack of 3 similar styles to this pair, they where priced at £8.50 for the 3 pairs.

*What do you think of my outfit? What trend are you currently loving? could you see yourself wearing the pink Lavender trend?

Lots Of Love,

Glossier Boy Brow Brown Review ❤

March 30, 2018

Hi All!

I’m all for trying eyebrow products in the chance of getting perfect brows, but not having to spend too long doing them. If you haven’t seen Glossier where have you been hiding? Glossier has been very much hyped up in the blogger world.

I have been waiting for Glossier to hit the UK so I can try here products first on the list was Boy Brow, Milky Jelly Cleanser, Balm Dot, Solution and the perfume! I have tried all of the products on my wishlist apart from the perfume, so keep an eye out for more Glossier product reviews.

The Glossier Boy Brow is a small tube costing £14 comes in 4 shades clear, brown, black and blond, when I first used this eyebrow mascara I was hooked. The Boy Brow looks so natural but my brows are filled in, coloured and all the hairs looking in place.

This eyebrow product is super quick swiping on some gel and being ready to leave, the colour pay off is great perfect shade, and lasts all day. I prefer my eyebrows to be slightly darker then my natural colour, if you apply too much or slightly miss your eyebrows you can just rub the product off easy.

The little brush is perfect for swiping across my eyebrows, you get a lot of product on the brush you don’t need a lot, I have to wipe some of the product of the brush as there is too much to apply. The Boy Brow did a good job of filling in any patchy parts, very easy eyebrow product that anyone could use for quick easy perfect brows!

What do you think of Glossier? Have you tried Boy Brow?
