I have wanted to try the NARS Sheer Glow foundation for so long now I decided to just take the plunge.
I have always been on the hunt for a perfect foundation that I suit and love 100%.
I went for the NARS Sheer Glow as I don’t like to wear matte foundation most of the time.
The shade I decided to go for by looking online was Fiji total guess and it happened to be the right shade.
I would suggest going to a counter to get colour matched if you can, My local store is just an hour away that’s all.
The shade Fiji is a yellow toned range and seems to suit me, I would say the coverage was medium/full.
I use my Real Techniques stippling brush to apply my foundation, Just my personal preference.
The NARS foundation however doesn’t contain any SPF which isn’t a problem for me but it’s better for photographyflash.
I found only needed 2 pumps and also covered any of my blemishes with ease, Also lasted all day which I was very pleased about.
I do love the simple NARS packaging with the glass bottle and simple black, However I’m not keen on the rubbery black matte lid as I find this gets very messy with fingers quickly.
I would suggest using moisturiser before applying as it can cling to you’re dry patches.
I didn’t think it was great that you pay £31 for a foundation with no pump! I hate pouring this out on to my hand you end up with wasting it.
I will be purchasing a pump ASAP I have seen they are online £3.
I have found that you can purchase this foundation on lots different websites, online or in-store.
Have you tried NARS Sheer Glow? Would you buy this foundation?
I have wanted to try the Oribe Spray for a long time now! I think this most be the most hyped about hair product right now.
I love to have my hair big and full of texture so I knew this product would be perfect for my hair.
However I do think the Oribe hair care products are pricey I can now see why you can just justify them!
My hair is getting more flat and lifeless the longer it seems to be growing I do however want long hair but not flat hair.
I have tried back combing my hair and using hair spray nothing seems to last that long really.
The spray is like a dry shampoo spray and hairspray but without the tacky/dry feel to it.
I can’t believe how much texture this gives to your hair, It is matte but I don’t mind this.
I do seem to be using this daily now so hoping this smaller can version will last me a while.
I like that the can is small enough to carry around with you on the go or if you’re travelling.
I properly will be buying the larger Texturizing Spray when I come to repurchase this though.
I was also pleasantly surprised at how well the spray lasted in my hair, I wasn’t sure if it would stay big and full of volume for long.
The Oribe texturizing spray as far as I’m aware can only be brought at Space NK either online or in-store.
I wish the Oribe hair products where easier to pick up as my nearest Space NK is about an hour away.
The can comes in 2 different sizes 300ml £38.00 or the 75ml £18.00.
Have you used any Oribe products? Would you buy this texturizing spray?
I have wanted to try this NARS lip gloss for a long time now, partly because of it being a a raved about lip gloss.
This lip gloss in shade turkish delight has to be the most known shade in the NARS line mostly because Kim Karadshian wears this lip gloss and her make up always looks perfect!
Who wouldn’t want there make up every day to look like that! I know plenty of her fans would and so would I .
The packaging is the same as all the other NARS products with the matt black rubberised packaging on the lid, However I have already found this slightly annoying as it is very easy to get finger prints on the lid to start looking messy.
On the website this shade is listed under pink sorbet, This lip gloss wasn’t what I had ecpexted the shade to be like.
The shade is a lot more bubblegum not very pastel shade like I thought it would be.
I think this shade would suit anyone though so that is a bonus, because of the yellow undertone.
If you would like more pigment I would suggest layering the lip gloss on more.
I’m also very glass that this lipstick is not sticky, as with having long hair and wearing sticky lip glosses does not work well.
The lip gloss retails at £18.50/8kg and you can buy in store or Online.
This was my first ever Origins purchase after hearing how great this moisturiser was.
The Origins Gin Zing moisturiser claims to start your natural radiance levels and give hydration.
I think this is a perfect wake me up product! Firm new favourite of mine to add to my daily routine.
I think the fresh sweet smell is perfect to refresh you in the mornings but not too sweet.
The moisturiser is a gel formula one of the first gel formulas around, I haven’t tried gel cream before but I was pleasantly surprised.
I do however have sensitive skin was slightly worried about using this on my face because of the scented fragrance, However I didn’t find any problems.
The scent can only be described as a fresh orange/ grapefruit scent, I suggest you all go have a smell!
The moisturiser contains a blend of panax ginseng also caffeine to aid optimisation of cellular energy and help repair the skin.
The moisturiser however does not contain any anti-ageing more focusing on giving you a healthy glow.
I found my skin very hydrated and moisturised after using this gel moisturiser.
The Origins Gin Zing retails at £23/50ml and you can buy this in a few places online or in store.
I thought would share with you another product I chose from my American beauty swap, I started to see the Lip Tar popping up more often and I hadn’t seen them before so thought why not!
I think you can buy them in the UK online I haven’t seen them in any shops though so unsure about if it is just online.
I also like that they come with this cute little brush to apply with, works very well and is a great bonus also comes in a little clear packet to store the brush and lip tar.
I went for shade Grandma the swatch on my lips really doesn’t do this lip tar any justice I have been asked a few times lately to do lip swatches though and have never felt that confident in doing so but thought would give it ago.
I will try and get a better photo when we have better light to take pictures in but just gives you an idea of the shade you can build this up to be more noticeable.
The shade Grandma is a lovely coral shade more of a bright orange shade with a pink shimmer this lip tar is very smooth and looks like a lip tint.
I think this would be a lovely shade for more summer months rather then Autumn/Winter so properly won’t be wearing this so much at the moment.
The lip tar did last on my lips for about 6 hours which I didn’t expect to last as long with out re applying.
Have you tried any of the OCC Lip Tars?
Lots Of Love
